Lego Titanic

I got home from work last night and found a note from Connor that wrote:
"The 'Titanic.'
Walla!
I finally made it.
p.s. don't let Olivia touch it."

The Titanic
On the left you will see the replicated romantic scene from the movie
(which is Olivia's favorite part of the Lego display).
Inside the Titanic, Connor divided the rich from the poor with gates.
Giving the rich greater room and windows and the
poor; small space and no windows.
If you have any questions about the Titanic
Connor is your man.
It's been his interest this year and he's been studying it thoroughly.
The last two years has been snakes and he's moved on to the Titanic.

Similarities

I've been told how similar my older sister and I look and share the same mannerisms. . .

Clearly, this picture shows our similarities.

I must say that I've been good at sharing my looks with my sisters.
I did not do this intentionally, but I do think it must be my duty as middle sister (hee-hee).
This picture: we all three have similarities and it could just be the big hair!
Here's Jolyn and I looking pretty similar.
The picture I was looking for was the one of us in our warm-up suits
and our big hair, we looked like twins.
I couldn't find the pic...but Jo, I bet you remember the picture.

Here's my other "sister" by default and coincidence,
Jeanne and I have been friends since 5th grade and have
called sisters many of times and twins and I'm a head taller
than she is.

So Blessed

For the past Weekend. . .

Saturday, we celebrated Jackie's 3rd Birthday
Princess castle cake for the princess
Besties!
These girls didn't want to leave each other's sight
Her face is clean now, can she open presents?
This is what she asked her mommy (hee-hee)
SO BLESSED TO WITNESS
GWEN'S BAPTISM

"In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit"
(The intermission between church and the baptism, Olivia and Jackie were saturating themselves with the Holy Water)
So Blessed for cousins. . .
Happy Girl, I think she knows it's been her special day.
So Blessed for Parents. . .
John, Jolyn, & Gwen
So Blessed for Grandparents. . .
G&G Mehmen with Gwen

G&G Kennedy with Gwen
So Blessed to be Godparents. . .
Paul and me with Gwen
So Blessed to have sisters. . .
So Blessed to have these women in my lfe. . .

(Do you like how we coordinated our clothes? This was not prearranged. . . just great intuition!)

Girls Day Out!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Olivia and I decided to go out for lunch to celebrate the special day.
We were going to do some shopping, but my back pain/spasm put a halt
to that idea.
We chose Perkins for our lunch.
Posing for the (phone) camera...
We treated ourselves today and had some chocolate!
Yummo! French Silk Pie!
Evidence of how much we enjoyed it. . . or should I
say how much Olivia enjoyed it!

Don't worry Connor didn't get left out, he was excited to open up G&G Roberts' gift this am and was totally intrigued with the "Gross" book and put together the lego figures in a flash!

Waiting to Inhale. . .

A Breath of Fresh Air
Mr. Frosty came to life in our backyard.

Connor insisted that Frosty wear his mittens.

Welcome Frosty! Watch out for the dogs, they'll take your arms away!

Snow ball fight!
Connor takes an aim at Dad.
Olivia looks on while swinging.
Daddy comes back with a huge snow ball!
Connor makes a run for it!
Look, Indy is smiling!
Both of the dogs loved playing outside as much as we did.
45 minutes of crisp fresh air
Rosy-cheeks
Sniffly-noses
All smiles
Now it's time to EXHALE!

Spiderella

Okay, I confess that I HATE photo glitches like the one below. I save it, I rotate it, I retrieve it when it appears vertical, but then appears horizontal!!! ANyways, Idon't think it will lose the effect of the meaning of the picture.....now presenting....

SPIDERELLA
aka
Spidey-twirley-dancer girl

Olivia has been into dressing up lately, last night she dressed up as Indiana Jones and Connor squeezed into his spiderman costume...no pictures were allowed because that may have interfered in his coolness.
Thursday night, Olivia wanted to be a twirly dancer and then she found spidey's mask and came out like this! Crack me up!
Connor's not too aware of his surroundings since he was playing his DS...hmmm....

Enough said about this picture!!!!
NOT so lady-like but maybe it's spidey-like?!
