Taki to Me!

Paul & I had an opportunity for a night out on the town. . .

Best Lenten Friday Dinner EVER!

Best Date EVER!
(even though we went home afterward, watched television, and fell into a sushi coma!)

Coloring Our World

At the Botanical Gardens

A Rainbow of Flowers

Totally Kissable!

Throwin' some gold in the pots.

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the shamrocks.

These little characters color our world!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

These boys love posing for pics!
Stay tuned for more wearin' o' the green,
rainbows
and
flowers. . .
Have to upload my phone pictures. . .

Here Comes The Sun!

The sun is out and so are we!

Connor mastering his skateboard skills.
He just checked out a library book on Skateboarding
and now I'm learning a whole new world of terminology.
There they go!

She loves to ride her bicycle!

Ad lib Skateboarding!
A two-person bob-sled team. . .
or a new spin on the luge.
They loved going down the hill over
and over and over and over again.

Fresh

Before I get started on my blog today, look at the poor, pitiful face I have to see each morning when I make breakfast. . .

Indy, either sad that her Daddy's not around or
that she wants some human food.
No CAN do!
Not even with those puppy dog eyes.
Tatum, on the other hand, is comfortable in her own skin
and is wondering why I'm invading her peace with
a camera flash.
*************************************************************************************
Yesterday, Paul, kids and I went to a local park so that Paul could get his run on and the kids and I could get our walk on. . .thank goodness there was a playground because the kids became very bored with walking.

Justa swingin'

Olivia was super fast and this is what I got of her FINALLY!

Connor hanging out.

So, it was great to get some good fresh spring air.
We also freshened up our living room!
A good rearrangement, dusting, repainting scratches,
wiping fingerprints, changing wall hangings
So at least we have a fresh look in the living room.
Now, on to the other de-clutterings. . .

Lucky

Our Annual visit to the St. Patty's Fest
in Dyersville. . .
Paul ran the 2 mile fun run this year, he rocked his time!
20:12 and this was in blustery, cold winds at 15-20mph
and temp. in the low 30's.
He usually does 11 min. miles on the treadmill.
SO LUCKY, to witness Paul in his new journey in running.
Olivia participated in the children's fun run; however,
she wanted physical support--someone to run with her--
she finished her race; the most important moral of the story.
(poor Connor was torn, he wanted to race the 2 mile
and not the little kid's run. . . if only there was a 1 mile race. . .
so he didn't race and he was fine with his choice)

SO LUCKY, for a 2nd generation of friends.
Olivia, Natalie, & Claire.
Olivia adores Natalie and they played so good together
this past weekend.
Connor & Gabe
share their love of LEGOs, Wii, etc.
These two were also good buddies over
the weekend.

(Jeanne & I used to talk about how our kids would
play so well with each other and our dreams
have come true.)
SO LUCKY, for life-long friends.
Me, Kristi, & Jeanne.

A Stroke of Success

Swimming Lessons are all finished

Connor passed with flying colors

He's jumping right into Level 4!
Good job, Buddy!

Water Lovers

Swim Lessons
Connor is in Level 3:
Stroke Development

It was like he never left the water. . .
He said he felt so free in the water!
Wanna-be. . .
She didn't have swim lessons but she
didn't want to feel left out and wore her
goggles during part of the lesson.
She also danced with the water aerobic instructor!
At least she was entertained.

Proud

Sunday Connor received his Wolf badge
at the Blue and Gold Banquet.

Den 6
(2 not pictured)
Paul pinning the badge upside down on
Connor's shirt.
Now he has to do a good deed
in order to flip it over.
