Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night!

Black Eyed Peas!
Can't believe this old, Christian music listening, go to bed early, doesn't like crowds or loud noises Lady just went this concert last week!
I went with my friends; Tanja and Karen for Karen's Birthday. It was fun, but boy was I exhausted the next day. (and maybe even the next dat after that!) I forget the experience of a concert is very consuming! Feel good songs, Bass thumping in your chest, the dancing, screaming and singing along with the music. (and we had our own seats no mosh-pits for this lady) Okay, kinda got tired of the rap music that opened for BEP. But the show was fantastic and amazing with all the computerized screens and the costumes!
Last concert I went to was the Eagles with Paul.....I'll try to stay on a one concert per decade track!

I Love you a Bushel and a Peck!

We are babysitting 40 chicks this afternoon for our neighbors!!
It's been a delight for the kids and for us!
Every hour we check in on the chicks to see if they are okay.
We're leaving them down in the basement; separate from the dogs.
Once we cover them up, they grow very quiet....and when we open the top to check on them they cheep, cheep, cheep!
Watch out Chick, Miss-O may want you for dinner!

We call this the Hawkeye chick....because of his colors and he's the fattest one of them all.
They are so cute and So soft!

Aloha!

Tropical Party at Gloria Dei..........the Pre-school that Miss-O and Marin will go to this fall.

The Hula Master: C-man!

The girls lovin' the hoops!

How Low Can You GO?

Our little spring chickens!

We went to the Eggstravaganza at the Botanical Gardens. Miss-O was very excited to see the Easter Bunny! After posing, they received some lovely lollipops!

Little Bear, Miss-O, & C-man got to see baby chicks and bunnies and petted them.

The girls were gentle when petting the chick. I love watching them be so amazed by the baby chicks.

I wish, I wish, I wish.........three little wishers.

There were crafts too! Painting with colored egg-yolk. Coloring contest, and checking out the fish, turtles and the sights.

Where the wild things are.......

Miss-O going over the swinging bridge!

The boys spot a duck under the water-fall and try their best duck-call......(it flew away)
C-man demonstrates how a fish breaths under-water!

spring break in review........

Spring Break 2010 was a great relaxing week at Great Grandma Donna's. We enjoyed a nice walk, Grandma's front porch swing, Whitey's!, playing, talking with aunts & uncles, and Hungry Hobo's (or according to Marin; Hungry Hippos!)
Hanging outside on the swing is one of our favorites!

The girls playing with C-man's legos! I think it's cute that they both have their hoods on yet.

Reading stories together in harmony.
