Let the Fall Activities Begin!

Thursday
This morning we headed off on the bus to a state park. Explored in a nature hike. Ate lunch. Had a scavenger hunt. Played on the playground. Finished up the day by viewing the new natural play area.
The kids had a blast. We really enjoyed our park-ranger; he was a hit! The kids really took to him and learned all the while!

C-man looking through one of the natural area's scultpures.
Class of 2021!
(C-man is in the front, 5th one in from the left.)
(mind you, this is just one class of 8...so therefore; he has about 160 kids in his whole class!)

Proud to hold onto the Raccoon hide.....C-man's friend Isaiah is checking it out at the right.

Nature Hike.....everyone had to keep up...there was no LOLLY-GAGGING!

Here's our park-ranger demonstrating a habitat is much better for a skunk than a child!

Wednesday

Making a ghost pumpkin; C-man's idea! Mommy is glad we don't have to carve them and dig in the goo this year....Daddy was bummed because there won't be any pumpkin seeds to roast.
Finishing touches: C-man does the ghost face while Miss-O supervises.

TUESDAY

STREEEEEEEETCH!
"YOU'RE MY BUDDIES!"

C-man is just involved in Rookies and this past Tuesday was his last day.....it was a mixture of Soccer, Basketball, and T-ball.....he was a bit saddened there was no dodge-ball.....but he got over it quickly as he went through the activities.......He made a buddy, Holden, and they will miss each other...luckily we know Holden's Mommy through the hospital...so we could hook the boys up to play some soccer!
