New Ornaments!

There are new ornaments on our Jesse Tree! In case you wanted a review of the Old Testament; here it goes............
Here is the star that represents Abraham and how God promised him that he would have as many children as there were stars.
The other ornament is the mountain in which Abraham loved God so much that he took his son, Isaac, up the mountain to offer to God. In the end he didn't have to lose his son, God knew that Abraham really loved him!
The Ladder: Jacob, who is Isaac's son had a dream of a stairway to heaven and after this dream he trusted in God and knows that God watches over us.
The coat represents Joseph and his coat of many colors. This coat was given to him by his father Jacob. Joseph's brothers were so jealous that they sold him for a slave. God was with Joseph, even in the bad times. Later when they reunited, Joseph forgave his brothers because God tells us to forgive others.
The next ornament is baby moses' story. Jacob's family grew and grew and the new king in Egypt did not like them. One day an Israelite woman had a baby boy and hid him in a special basket that would float on the waters. An Egyptian princess found the baby boy and named him Moses. Moses' sister was there and said that she could find her a nurse for baby Moses. (Which ended up being Moses' own mother!) God watches over us and he kept baby Moses safe.
(The other ornament shown was the very first one that Connor made: the sky for creation.)
